Aristopet SOAP FREE Flea and Tick Shampoo - 1-88189

A gentle acting insecticidal shampoo for dogs, cats, puppies and kittens containing natural pyrethrins to control fleas (Ctenocephalides spp) and aid in the control of adult brown dog ticks (Ahipicephalus sanguineus). Does not control paralysis tick (Ixodes holocyclys).

Pyrethrins are extracted from chrysanthemun flowers and act as rapid knockdown contact poisons to control fleas and aid in control of ticks, but have a very low toxicity to the animal host. Piperonyl Butoxide increases the effectiveness of pyrethrins.

Environmental control: This product will eliminate fleas from dogs and cats. Prevent reinfectation by treating kennels, bedding and surrounding areas simultaneously with Aristopet Flea and Tick Rinse Concentrate or a suitable registered product.
