These pads may only be used outdoors if, they are placed in a completely dry kennel or under a protected veranda or pergola with no exposure to weather/moisture at all. The plug pack and lead wire should also be kept dry, as with any electrical appliance. Although the pads have extra low voltage, exposure to moisture will corrode the wiring.
